Cody Hudson

"In a perfect world," Cody Hudson, graphic designer and musician says, "I'd like to sound as if Josh Homme (QOTSA) had a bastard child with Karen O (YeahYeahYeahs). Bob Dylan delivered the baby and Billy Corgain baptized it while Kurt Conbain and Steve Malkmus (Pavement) presented gifts. All of this happening in the church of the 'Heart of  God' because Neil Young is GOD. "

A recent show at The Rendezvous included a set list with likes of  Queens of the Stone Age,
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and Modest Mouse. All originals the first half  with,
new songs written over Winter including "War Kids," "Broken Bottle" and "Elise." Check out the following "Elise" origional below.

Hudson has been playing music for fourteen years now. After a couple lessons at age twelve, he picked it back up at sixteen. Hasn't gone three days without playing since.

Technology and the outdoors, coupled with art stimuli additionally fuel his musical endeavors. QOTSA, BRMC, Bob Dylan, Pixies, Nirvana, Local H, Smashing Pumpkins, Dwight Yoakam, Pavement, and Death from Above 1979 are among band favorites.

When Hudson is not playing music, he's doing graphic design, animation, and photography. Formally trained at Missouri Western State University in Graphic Design, he moved on to become the Director of Digial Media at KC Sports, Kansas City, MO.
